DSC#095 - Grateful Card

Hi Stampers,
Well, I sat for 4 hours both last night and the night before and managed to get 72 of the little Black Favor Boxes  filled and tied with black satin bows on them for my daughters upcoming wedding.  Only 75 more to go on that and 150 ribbons to put onto the top of all of the Ceremony Programs.  It's almost over... Can't wait to have my life back.  LOL   In the midst of it all I did manage to get my card finished for this weeks DOstamper STARS DSC#095 Thursday Challenge.  My card is called "Grateful". I just LOVE the colors in this weeks challenge.  Such "Fall Like" Colors to work with, and fall is just around the corner...

You are actually getting a little small peek at a new stamp set in the new Holiday Catalog (hopefully all my customers have received theirs by now, if not make sure you let me know).  The two stamp sets that I used on this card were the new holiday stamp set called For All Things  NOTE:  (Holiday Catalog starts August 28) and also an oldie but goodie stamp set Gently Falling.

I used Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, and the new Color Me Autumn DSP from the new Holiday Catalog.  For the layered frame look I used the Squares Framelits Collection (#2, #3, #4, #5).  The green leaf was cut from the Bigz Autumn Accents Die.  I posted quite a few different photo views of this card for you and tried to get a close up of the leaves too.  Love it!!!  Im' really anxious to hear what you think of it too. Stay healthy and God Bless!

    1. Hi Linda, Thank you for taking time to comment, you are always so faithful at leaving comments. I really had trouble with this card until I really got going on it. I was working initially with a dark wood looking background, and ended up with Cajun and Very Vanilla the COMPLETE opposite. LOL. But all of a sudden it started to click and the ideas really started to flow, and I just started it all over with the new idea. Glad that I did. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks again for taking time to comment on it!
