Apron of Love Card - DSC#268

Hi Stampers,

Here is a look at the NEW April of Love Bundle Bundle from the current Occasions Catalog. Today's challenge card is for the DOstamper Thursday DSC#268 Color My World Challenge!  I am so glad I purchased the Apron of Love Set.  I cannot wait to try making the masculine grilling apron for a card, my brain is really getting tons of ideas for that.  LOL.

I used the New Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper which is a FREE item you can get for every $50 you spend during the Sale-a-bration Sale.  Don't let the bottles and caps on this paper stop you from getting it.  The backside of the papers all have fantastic generic patterns and colors, I LOVE it!!!!

I started out with Bermuda Bay CS for the card base.  My first layer is the Whisper White CS.  The decorative paper inside the frame and the apron are both from the  Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper.

  I made a little bow using the Calapso Coral 1/8" Sheer Ribbon and added two little enamel shapes.

The finishing touches were to make a custom envelope and envelope liner using the Envelope Punch Board and the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper. LOVE that DSP!!!!

Party Pandas Card - DSC#261

Hi Stampers,

Here is a look at the NEW Party Pandas FREE Stamp Set you can get for spending just $50 during the upcoming Sale-a-bration Sale starting Jan 3rd, 2018.   This challenge card is for the DOstamper Thursday DSC#261 Home Sweet Home Challenge!  I used the New Picture Perfect Party 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper which will also be available in the Upcoming Occasions Catalog starting Jan. 3, 2018.

I started out with Whisper White CS for the card base.  The decorative paper on card was from the  Picture Perfect Party 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper.

  I hand cut the little bow out of the Picture Perfect Party 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper and just glued it in the right hand corner of the card.  The balloon and party hat were colored using the 2017-2019 In Color Stampin' Write Markers.  I made the shadow under the Panda feet using Smoky Slate Ink and my Aqua Painter Water Color Pen.

The finishing touches was to add the Vintage Crochet Trim to the card and to make a custom envelope using the Envelope Punch Board and the Picture Perfect Party 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper.
