DSC#219 - So In Love

Hi Stampers,
I have a beautiful elegant looking card for you to enjoy for this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#219 Sketch Pad Challenge!  I used my So In Love Clear-Mount Bundle to make the belly band wrap and the sentiment. I just love the way that it came out! What do you think?

Immediately when I saw the photo for this weeks sketch challenge I knew immediately what I wanted the card to look like.  For the cardbase I used the beautiful soft Mint Macaron CS.  The elegant floral background paper is from the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper .  I used a layer of  Vellum Card Stock to lay over the floral paper to soften the bright  colors in the paper.  The lacy band and sentiment on the card were both done with the So In Love Clear-Mount Bundle and both Crumb Cake CS and Ink.

The finishing touches were to add the Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon and Bow, the Falling In Love Embellishment and the script writing stamped on the Envelope Liner from the retired En Français Stamp Set.

I would love to hear your thoughts...

Easter Basket Bunch Card - DSC#218

Hi Stampers,
Are you looking to make a Quick and Simple Easter Card?  If so then you will love my card for this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#218 Product Spotlight Challenge!  I made this card using the Basket Bunch Photopolymer Bundle and the beautiful Flirty Flamingo 3/8" Ruched Ribbon.

The "Happy Easter" sentiment was from a retired Eastern Blossoms Stamp Set I have, but you can use any similar "Happy Easter" sentiment that you have in your craft room to substitute.  It is hard to tell by looking at the photo, but the little colored eggs are glued to white eggs using the Fine Tip Glue Pen and then I used Stampin Dimensionals to give them some height.

The finishing touch was to add the little wrap and bow with the Whisper White Bakers Twine, and to make a custom envelope and liner to match the card using the Envelope Punch Board.

So In Love Wedding Card - DSC#217

Hi Stampers,
Here is a peek at the Wedding Card that I designed for this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#217 Home Sweet Home Challenge!  I designed the card using only two colors of cardstock and one color of ink.  Plain, yet so beautiful and elegant. The card was made using the new So In Love Clear-Mount Bundle .  This is truly a beautiful stamp set bundle!  In addition to the lacy sides of the card you see here, you can also make lacy belly bands too.  Perfect set for making Anniversary and Wedding cards!

I worked on this for a while becuase I was just not thrilled with how it was coming out at first.  Finally I tried using an embossing folder on the inside Very Vanilla CS layer and then bingo....that was exactly what it needed.  Finally the beauty and elegance I was looking for!

The finishing touch was to add the little bow with the Very Vanilla 1/4" Satin Ribbon and a small Rhinestone Basic Jewels Embellishment.
