Hi Stampers,
Take a look at this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#223 Sketch Pad Challenge! It is hard to believe that the first four upper squares on my card are really made with four separate 2" square paper pieces. Once I added the Basic Gray Photo Corners to the four upper squares it made a really unique pattern that even I didn't expect. But, if you look closely, you will see that it is actually four separate little squares with the Flirty Flamingo CS showing between them. This weeks card uses the Make a Medallion Stamp Set which is one of the Sale-a-bration Stamp Sets you can get for FREE for placing a $50 order.
On the top four squares I used Stampin Dimensionals on the back of the squares to lift them so they would stand out on the card more than the bottom section of the card. For the little round stamp of the bottom section, I used the stamp from the Make a Medallion Stamp Set and stamped it in two different directions to make it form a circle. Then used only the center of the larger stamp to stamp around it with the Flirty Flamingo Ink. Finally I finished that section off with a sentiment and cut the banner out using the Bunch of Banner Framelits Set.
The finishing touch was to add the little bow with the Whisper White Thick Bakers Twine.
