Cheerful Tags & Festival of Trees - DSC#106 Challenge Card

Hi Stampers,
Well it is Thursday again and time for me to post another DOStampers DSC#106 Thursday Challenge Card.  I have to level with you, this was an extremely tricky card for me to design this week, I felt really challenged  trying to come up with an idea that would work around the photo below that was given to me.  It took me a while to figure out what I was going to use on the card front, as the circle alone just didn't do it for me.  So once again, I turned to the new Festival of Trees Stamp Set and Tree Punch.  LOVE THEM!  I used that set on my November/December Card Class Kits TO GO and been crazy about it since.  I also used the new Cheerful Tags Stamp Set for the sentiment and the new Trim the Trim DSP Paper Stack for the little squares.  The matching envelope was made with the Envelope Punch Board.

Just a little note about the November/December Card Class Kit TO GO...I made double the kits this month due to the fact that the kits are for 2 months this time instead of 1 month thinking they would last longer before selling out, but... they are almost sold out already and November just started.  (There are only 2 kits left) just in case you have been thinking of getting one, They will not last thru the month of November let alone thru December so don't delay if you are still hoping to get one.  Check them out on my Classes Page.

I really hope you enjoy today's card design, colors, and paper choice that I came up for this weeks Challenge Card.  Looking forward to hear from you all, I read every one of your comments and they mean the world to me!  Enjoy the card and as always, God Bless!

  5. Do you sponge the edge of the Christmas tree? I love the way it shines.

    1. Hi Robyn, No actually I didn't sponge the edge of the Christmas Tree. It was one of those wrong moments that turned out to be better than the original idea. I stamped uneven on that side when I was pressing and thought I would have to toss it, but ended up liking it more than the one that was stamped out correctly. LOL Thanks for the comment!
