I Believe In Santa Claus

Hi Stampers,
Here is a cute little Santa Claus Card.  I used the Hearts Framelits Collection to make the collar and the Snowflake Soiree Stamp Set for the "Believe".  This is a quick and easy card to make for someone.

 

  

 

 

Supplies

 

Basis Black CS #121045

• 4-1/4" x 11" (scored in half as a top fold card)
• 1-3/8" x 4" for belt (embossed with folder)
• 1" x 1" for belt center

Silver Glimmer Paper #124005

• 1-3/8 x 1-3/8" (for buckle)

Real Red CS #102482

• 4" x 5-1/4" (for his jacket)

Whisper White CS #100730

• 1-1/2" x 4-1/2" (for front of jacket)
• 2" x 5-1/2" Scrap cut out 1/2 of largest heart from the Hearts Framelits Collection (for collar)
• 4" x 5-1/4" for inside of card

Directions

1. Cut out the top half of the Largest Scalloped Heart from the Hearts Framlits Collection. Trim to 4" wide and 1-3/4" high. (HINT: cut the height to 1-3/4” and then lay the collar centered onto the red layer, turn over and lightly mark the sides so widths both match, and cut off the excess off the collar. 
2. Sponge edges of the white front piece of the jacket also with Smoky Slate Ink.  
3. Emboss the black belt parts with the Lattice Folder.  
4. Sponge edges of the white insert with the Smoky Slate Ink and also use the Ticket Corner Punch to punch corners of the inside insert of the card.
5. Glue belt strip to card. Glue 1" black piece to the sliver glimmer piece, then attach the silver piece to the card using (4) Dimensionals.  
6. Place the black gems on front of card as buttons, and attach the Rhinestone on "Believe “as shown above.
