Here Comes the Bride and Groom Wedding Card

Hi Stamper’s,

I worked on this beautiful Here Comes the Bride and Groom Wedding Card late last night, but I’m just now getting it posted onto the blog for you.  This is my version of the Lynn Pratt Wedding Card. I just absolutely LOVE the way it came out!   The additional envelope liner adds so much to this card and it really compliments the Brides Dress beautifully!  It just shines and sparkles so much.  It’s so pretty and elegant.    I really hope you like it!  What do you think?  I would love you hear your comments on this card if you have the time…

I made the card base a 4-1/4” x 5-1/4” “tri-folded” card which opens in the middle.  The Brides Dress can then be placed on card front to hide the opening on the front of the card.  (This card will fit into a normal A2 envelope). As you can see, in my version of this card, I have also added a beautiful matching embossed and shimmer sprayed liner for the envelope.

I cut out all the Bridal Dress and Tuxedo details from Lynn Pratt’s Wedding Card Template.  (You can goggle it and find the template for free download, she has been kind enough to make the template a public download).

I embossed both the Brides Dress pieces and the Envelope Liner with the Lacy Brocade Folder, and I embossed the Tuxedo Shirt with the stripes embossing folder.  After that I sprayed both the Bridal Dress pieces and the liner for the envelope with White Frost Shimmer Spray.

I used dimensionals on the two front sections of the dress to attach them to the front of the dress, attached ribbon and a gem to the waistline, and added gems to the front of the Tuxedo Shirt Front.  For the inside of the card, I used the One in a Million Stamp Set.

For directions on making the envelope and liner, you can watch the video on my card post “Folded Christmas Card with Envelope” dated 10/20/13.  The envelope and liner directions are on that video towards the end of the video in great detail for you.

Thank you so much for viewing my cards and for taking the time to leave me your comments! I read all of them, and I sincerely appreciate all of them!

    1. I would love to do a video for you on this card, but I feel that it would be unfair to Lynn Pratt for me to make a video on this particular card due to the fact that the actual template for cutting out the dress is her copyrighted template. I tried to give as many directions on making this card as possible and would be happy to answer any questions you have in regards to making it. I will also try to email her and get her feelings on this matter., If she doesn't care, I will post a video for the card for you. Thank you so much for leaving your comment! Sharon
