All Dressed Up Candy Holder for Hostess "Thank You"

Here is a perfect little Hostess Gift or emboss white cardstock paper and turn it easily into a table favor for a Bridal Shower.  Best of all is it is so quick to make...


Supplies:
 
Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper #126902
  • Cut (3” x 6-1/2”)
 Whisper White Paper # 100730
  • 3” x 2-1/2”
  • Scrap for Itty Bitty Banner tag
 Dress Up Framelits #130101

Whisper White Ribbon 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon #109070
  • cut (2) 6” pieces (one for dress and one for bag)
Big Shot Machine #113439

Cellophane Bags (4x6 bag, 50 per bag) #102757

(1) Hershey Nugget or 2 Pearson Mint Patties
 
Directions: 

1. Using the Whisper White paper, form the small candy holder from a 3” x 2-1/2” piece of paper that has been scored on all four sides at 3/4”. Cut along (1) scored line on each corner, but only up to the opposite score line. Fold edges in and adhere with tape to form a small box.

2. For the dress, using a 3” x 6 1/2” piece Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, fold paper in half so height of paper is now 3” from top to bottom of paper.
 
3. Lay the shoulder of the dress framelit at top of fold letting the shoulders of the framelit pass fold to half way between shoulders and the top of the bodice of the dress. This will connect the top of the shoulders of the dress together.

4. Tie the ribbon knot around waistline of the “front” portion of dress only. Tim ends on an angle.

5. Glue candy holder box portion of box to bottom of dress with Sticky Tape. Put a Hershey Nuggets or 2 Pearson Mint Patties in the candy holder portion.
 
6. Put dress into a cellophane bag, tie with ribbon knot and hang a personalized Itty Bitty tag onto front of package attach with a glue dot.
