Stampin Up GIFT BOX with Punch Board & Video

Hi Stampers,
I am so excited to share this 4" x 4" Gift Box that I made Using the Stampin Up Gift Box Punch Board.  I absolutely LOVE the way it came out!  I made a YouTube Video for you on the construction of this box walking you through every step in making it.  I will embed the video below the post for you.  I used the Under The Tree Specialty Paper for the box itself.  Right now, you can still get this specialty paper in the clearance rack for only $5.19.  Even though it is a Christmas paper, it is not limited to just Christmas as you can see.  The Early Espresso brown and gold colors on the paper makes the box so elegant. For the tag, I made it extra long using the NoteTag Punch, and I show you how to do that on the video also.  The sentiment was done with the You're Wonderful Stamp Set.  I truly hope you enjoy this box and my new YouTube Video.  Love to hear what you think about it if you have time.  God Bless!

Groovy Love Valentine's Card - PPA Color Challenge 239

Hi Stampers,
Since Valentine's Day is Saturday, I wanted to post a Valentine's Day Card for you and wish you a Happy Valentine's Day!  My Groovy Love Valentine's Day Card is for the PPA Color Challenge #239.  I used the Groovy Love Stamp Set for the sentiment, and the cute little Sweetheart Punch for the hearts.

For the base of the card I used the Soft Suede CS.  Layer 1 was Real Red CS, Layer 2 is Crumb Cake CS and the hearts are stamped onto Whisper White CS with Soft Suede Ink.  The center heart was stamped on a scrap, punched out with the Sweetheart Punch, and then I used a dimensional to "pop" it on the center of the card. Both the envelope and it's liner were both made with the Envelope Punch Board.  For the envelope liner, I used the Fresh Prints Paper Stack. The final "tweak" was adding the Rhinestone Gem on the heart.   I hope you enjoy the card, I would love to hear your comments on it if you have time. Have a wonderful Valentine's Day on Saturday and God Bless!

Lotus Blossom Card - DSC#119 & Mojo 384

Hi Stampers,
I am CRAZY about the FREE stamp from Sale-a-Bration called Lotus Blossom.  Last week I showed you on my video how to work with the stamp set doing the layering for the flower.  I will attach the video from last week to this weeks post also in case you missed the instructions on working with the stamp set.  This weeks Lotus Bloom Card is for both the DSC#119 DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge and also for the Mojo #383 Contest.  This card is a Birthday Card for which I used the Crazy about You Stamp Set for the sentiment.  The colors in the Home Sweet Home Photo below had so much black in it and also pink or rose, but also had just a little hint of yellow, so right away I saw flowers in my head.   I really LOVED the layout of this week's Mojo#384 Sketch. So...once again, I put both these wonderful ideas and challenges together and created my card.

For the base of the card I used the Basic Black CS.  Layer 1 was a combination of Whisper White CS and the All Bloom Paper Stack.  The top layers were Strawberry Slush, Basic Black and Whisper White.  ( Sorry about the horrible photo, the Strawberry Slush looks almost Orange here, but I was out of town when I took the photo and the lighting was terrible.  The Stampin Up paper below in the supply list shows the true color of Strawberry Slush).  Of course the stamp set was Lotus Bloom which you can earn FREE for a $50 order from the New Occasions Catalog for Sale-a-Bration.  The flower layers were done with Daffodil Delight, Strawberry Slush and  Blushing Bride Inks.  The stem was done in Pistachio Pudding.   Both the envelope and it's liner were both made with the Envelope Punch Board.  For the envelope liner, I used the All Bloom Paper Stack. The final "tweak" was adding the Daffodil Ribbon and Bow   I hope you enjoy the card, I would love to hear your comments on it if you have time.  God Bless!
