Apron of Love Card - DSC#268

Hi Stampers,

Here is a look at the NEW April of Love Bundle Bundle from the current Occasions Catalog. Today's challenge card is for the DOstamper Thursday DSC#268 Color My World Challenge!  I am so glad I purchased the Apron of Love Set.  I cannot wait to try making the masculine grilling apron for a card, my brain is really getting tons of ideas for that.  LOL.

I used the New Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper which is a FREE item you can get for every $50 you spend during the Sale-a-bration Sale.  Don't let the bottles and caps on this paper stop you from getting it.  The backside of the papers all have fantastic generic patterns and colors, I LOVE it!!!!

I started out with Bermuda Bay CS for the card base.  My first layer is the Whisper White CS.  The decorative paper inside the frame and the apron are both from the  Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper.

  I made a little bow using the Calapso Coral 1/8" Sheer Ribbon and added two little enamel shapes.

The finishing touches were to make a custom envelope and envelope liner using the Envelope Punch Board and the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper. LOVE that DSP!!!!

DSC#266 - Party Pandas Using Decorative Mask

Hi Stampers,

Here is a little masking technique that is really fun and easy. I used the NEW Party Pandas Stamp Set that you can get FREE for spending just $50 during the ongoing Sale-a-bration Sale.  Today's Challenge Card is for the DOstamper Thursday DSC#266 Product Spotlight Challenge!  I used the Seasonal Decorative Masks with a finger sponge dauber for this effect.

I started out with Strawberry Slush CS for the card base.  My first layer is the Whisper White CS.

 

  The tiny little love note was made with the Love Notes Framelits.  The large heart was cut out with the Hearts Collection Framelits Die. The ribbon is a retired ribbon called Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim

The finishing touches were to make a custom envelope using the Envelope Punch Board and make a liner for it using the same decorative mask technique.
