Party Pandas Card - DSC#261

Hi Stampers,

Here is a look at the NEW Party Pandas FREE Stamp Set you can get for spending just $50 during the upcoming Sale-a-bration Sale starting Jan 3rd, 2018.   This challenge card is for the DOstamper Thursday DSC#261 Home Sweet Home Challenge!  I used the New Picture Perfect Party 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper which will also be available in the Upcoming Occasions Catalog starting Jan. 3, 2018.

I started out with Whisper White CS for the card base.  The decorative paper on card was from the  Picture Perfect Party 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper.

  I hand cut the little bow out of the Picture Perfect Party 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper and just glued it in the right hand corner of the card.  The balloon and party hat were colored using the 2017-2019 In Color Stampin' Write Markers.  I made the shadow under the Panda feet using Smoky Slate Ink and my Aqua Painter Water Color Pen.

The finishing touches was to add the Vintage Crochet Trim to the card and to make a custom envelope using the Envelope Punch Board and the Picture Perfect Party 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper.

Cool Treats Sundae Card - DSC#216

Hi Stampers,

Here is a peek at my card design for this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#216 Color My World Challenge!  I have been going crazy designing cards with my Cool Treats Photopolymer Bundle, such a fun bundle to work with. About 70% of cards I make are Birthday Cards, so this bundle is getting tons of use to say the least.

No you are not going crazy...the Soft Suede layer 1 is laid on the card base on an angle to give the card character.  The Whisper White layer 2 is centered straight aligning with the Soft Suede card base.

Hint for the sentiment:  I marked a tiny pencil mark horizontally on the Whisper White CS @ 1-5/8"  which is the center point, and then centered my stamp over that mark.  Then after the initial "sweet", I left a 3/4" white space between the last and the next "sweet". It is a little hard to see but I used dimensionals to "pop" the bowl and the ice cream balls to give the card some dimension.

The finishing touch was to add the little bow using bakers twine and a little Pool Party heart from the Subtles Enamel Shapes.,
