Sealed with Love Bundle - DSC#213

Hi Stampers,

Who is the Love on your list for Valentine' s Day? The Sealed with Love Bundle is perfect for that special someone!  Whether the occasion is Valentine’s Day, Anniversaries, Bridal, or just to say I Love You, the Sealed with Love Bundle has everything to make your card personal and special!  Take a look at my card for this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#213 Home Sweet Home Challenge!  I used my new Sealed with Love Bundle to design this card, and I just love the way it turned out.

Truth be told, when I placed my original first order from the New Occasions Catalog, I did not put this set on the order   I thought that it was so cute....but that I just didn't need another Valentines Stamp Set.  But every time I opened the Occasions Catalog and saw those cute little mini envelopes and starting thinking on how many occasions through out the year I would use this set,  I knew that I had to put in another order for it.  No regrets!

I used the matching Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack for the cute little mini envelopes on the front of the card and for the red pattered insert paper behind the vertical hearts going down the right side of the card.

The finishing touch was to add the little bows using some red and black twine.

Number of Years - PPA299 Challenge Card

Hi Stampers,

Take a look at this weeks Pals Paper Arts - PPA299 Card!  I have been wanting to use my Number Of Years Stamp Set and figured no time like the present to come up with an idea using it.

This was a fun challenge.  I loved the challenge trying to figure out what I was going to use for the angled layers on the card front.  I worked on the top layer and kept thinking that it needed just a little something else to bring it out and then the light bulb in my head went on....I decided to go over the stamped image and emboss it using the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Perfect, just what I was looking for!

The finishing touch was to add the little Metallic Sequins and 

the Daffodil Cotton Ribbon to pull it all together and adding the Gold to the card.

Basic Instructions:

• Cut Whisper White CS @ 5-1/2 x 8-1/2", score @ 4-1/4"
• Cut Whisper White CS @ 3" x 4-1/4"
• Cut Crumb Cake CS  3" x 4-3/4" 
• Envelope and Liner were both made with the Envelope Punch Board.

Flower Patch Birthday Card - PPA287

Hi Stampers,
Nice "spring"colors to work with on this weeks PPA287 Challenge Card.  Love it, especially when it is snowing like crazy here!  These colors say "Spring Card". I used the Flower Patch Stamp Set and Matching Framelits for the flowers and the sentiment on the card. The little leaves were done with the retired Sizzlits Little Leaves Die.

For the card base I used the Calypso Coral CS. Layer 1 was done with Whisper White CS and I scored three small lines using the Score Board.   I has to substitute Garden Green CS for the leaves instead of the Old Olive as I was out of Old Olive CS.  Of course, the inks used were Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe. (The center of the flower I used Daffodil Delight Ink).

I pulled in the Lost Lagoon color into the liner for the envelope which were both made with the Envelope Punch Board.  For the envelope liner, I used a sheet of paper for the liner from an oldie but goodie Saleabration DSP called The Best Year Ever DSP. The final "tweak" factor was looping and adding the  Linen Thread.  God Bless!
