Hope you are all doing well. It's time for another DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge. This week is the DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge DSC#120. I have really been enjoying my FREE stamp sets from this year's Sale-a-Bration. I am having a great time coming up with ideas for cards using the sets. For this weeks card, I used the Simply Wonderful FREE Stamp Set for the sentiment on the card. and I also used the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set. This weeks sketch design challenge card was a difficult one for me. It took me a while to figure out what colors I wanted to work with and get a feel of the card design too. Some ideas come easy and some do not...this week did not. LOL! But, I really liked the Sketch Pad Design from the DOStamper Challenge Photo below, but it just took me a little while to figure out what I was going to do with it.
For the card base I used the Whisper White CS. Layer 1 was done with Crumb Cake CS. I used Calypso Coral CS and Pistachio Pudding on the smaller pieces. The patterned paper used on the butterflies were actually done by stamping Something Lacy Stamp onto Whisper White CS and then I punched them out with both the Elegant Butterfly Punch and the Bitty Butterfly Punch. The Washi Tape I used is Sweet Sadie Designer Washi Tape. Both the matching envelope and it's liner were both made with the Envelope Punch Board. For the envelope liner, I used a sheet of paper from the All Abloom Paper Stack. The final "tweak" factors were adding the Button, Doily, Rhinestones and Linen Thread. I hope you enjoy the card, What do you think of the card? God Bless!
