Flourishing Phrases - DSC#191

Hi Stampers,
I can't believe it's time for another DOstamper Thursday DSC#191 Sketch Pad Challenge!  For this weeks card I decided to use a butterfly in place of the pink flower on the face of the design sheet. I used my Flourishing Phrases Clear-Mount Stamp Set for that beautiful sentiment on the front of the card, and the Butterflies Thinlits Dies  for that cute little butterfly.

Do you recognize that beautiful scallop die cut on the top layer?  That scallop was done with the retired Striped Scallop Thinlits Die, that I placed on an angle on the top card layer.  The butterfly was cut out of the front layer so the Soft Suede Cardbase would show through the inside of the butterfly.

The finishing touches were to add the two Rhinestone Basic Jewels Embellishments in the middle of the butterfly and two  gems from Metallics Sequin Assortment.

    1. Awe...Thank Connie! I just got this crazy vision to use a butterfly instead of a flower, don't ask me why...but I just went with it.
