Hi Stampers,
Well, it's Thursday again, can you belive it? The week's just seem to fly by so quickly. I have another card post for this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#141 Color My World Challenge. I have to say, that this was not my favorite combination of color choices to have to work with. The card still came out cute, and I really liked the way that the card is folded and the way the little insert card goes inside, but I would have chosen different colors if it had not been for the challenge. Hope you enjoy the card. If you have time, comment to let me know what you think...God Bless!
The cardbase was cut @4-1/4" x 11" and the front white piece cut @ 3-1/2" x 5". I used the retired Peaceful Petals Stamp Set, for the leaves on the front of the card and the You're Wonderful Stamp Set for the tiny little flowers and for the flower on the insert of the card I used Bloom With Hope Stamp Set. (see video below)
Insert card was cut @ 3" x 5". The banner on card front and insert sentiment were both stamped using the Simply Wonderful Stamp Set and was punched out using the Banner Triple Punch.
I punched out a short scallop using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, and attached it to the top of the insert card with double sided tape. The custom Envelope and Envelope Insert were both made with the Envelope Punch Board.
