Dazzling Dryer Sheet Card Lovely As A Tree

Hi Stampers,
 A Dryer Sheet Card, Yes, you did read it correctly...This card is made with a "Bounce" Dryer Sheet.  This card was the original idea of Tami White, and I just had to make it.  I think you will agree after you make it, that it's one of the prettiest cards you have ever made.  Simple to make; yet soooo elegant. It is hard to see, but this card just sparkles with the use of Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter.



Very Vanilla Cardstock #101650

• 5" x 3-3/4" – Card Face top layer
• 4-1-4” x 4-1/4” – Envelope Liner
• 4” x 5/14” – Inside card layer

Early Espresso Cardstock #119686

Bounce Dryer Sheets – Cut @ 5” x 3-3/4” and ironed

Elmer’s Craft Bond Spray - Multipurpose

 

Directions

1. Using the tall tree in the set, ink stamp once in center and then without re-inking, stamp in left side of paper but up a little higher.
2. Re-ink on right side of card and once again without re-inking stamp to left and up a little higher.
3. Re-ink stamp on left in front, then without re-inking, stamp edge of tree running off the right side and left sides of the paper.
4. Using a USED dryer sheet, trim to 5" x 3-3/4" or whatever size you have cut the vanilla layer paper.
5. Spray the Elmer’s Spray Adhesive onto the dryer sheet, stick onto the vanilla cardstock and press onto the face of the trees.
6. While wet, pour Dazzling Diamonds over the whole card face. Flick backside of the card to tap off the excess.
7. Attach vanilla layer to the gold layer cardstock with snail adhesive.
8. Wrap Early Espresso Tulle around the left side of card and tie a knot. Put a small linen thread or hemp thread thru knot.
9. Attach to the Espresso cardstock base.
10. Attach the inside of the card.
