"Hello" Scallop Tag Punch Card

Hi Stampers,
This has been a crazy week.  Really busy for me, designing and creating cards and trying to get another YouTube Video posted. And then of course, classes here on Thursday morning and Friday evening.  And...trying to also live my personal life too.  LOL  Have you ordered your Tag Topper Punch yet?  If not, you are really missing out.  They are so much fun to work with!.  Not only can you use them for making tags with "no end to their length", but now you can also make cards with them too.  Here is the card that I made with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  Isn't it cool?  I have seen so many versions of this card out there now, so I'm not really sure where the original idea  came from;  but here my mine version of the card.

I showed this card to the ladies at the class this morning, and they really loved it and have requested to learn how to make it at my next class in March.  Come and join us at the March class if you are able to make it.   For my customers who cannot make my classes, I have included a YouTube Video below with all of the instructions on creating it for you.  Love to hear from you after you have made it.

"Woo-Hoo" Card Challenge Card

Hi Stampers,
Here is my card entry called "Just Sayin' Woo-Hoo", for the DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge called Home Sweet Home DSC#071, and also the card that I entered for the Mojo 334 Contest this same week.  This was an Extreme Challenge for me to try to make the one card that would meet requirements for both.  I had to stay in the colors and feel of the Home Sweet Home picture below, but also try to meet the Small and Skinny Card requirements of the MOJO 334 Contest requirements. But...I think I did it!  Love if you could leave me a comment as to what you think of it.

• cut @ 6” x 3-1/4” for layer 1

DIRECTIONS

1. The card base was cut 6-1/4” x 7”, and scored @ 3-1/2”in Whisper White CS #100730. 
2. Layer 1 was Bermuda Bay #131197 cut @ 6” x 3-1/4”.
3. The three small horizontal strips were cut @ 3/4” x 3-1/4” and I used Coastal Cabana #131297, and Sweet Sorbet DSCS #133521. 
4. The Large vertical strip was cut @ 1-1/2” x 5” and paper I used was Tangerine Tango #111349. The smaller insert was cut @1-1/4” x 4-1/2” and I used Sweet Sorbet DSCS #133521. 
5. The circles were made as follows:   Whisper White CS #100730 using the 2-3/8” Scallop Circle Punch #118874 and I sponged the edge with Bermuda Bay Ink #131171. I used Bermuda Bay CS #131197 for the 1-3/4” Circle Punch #119850 which I also sponged the edge with Bermuda Bay Ink #131171.
6. The sentiment was stamped and cut out with the Just Saying Bundle #134819 (W) or #134820(C). 
7. I used (2) Candy Dots #130931 for top right side of card to embellish.

Dazzling Dryer Sheet Card Lovely As A Tree

Hi Stampers,
 A Dryer Sheet Card, Yes, you did read it correctly...This card is made with a "Bounce" Dryer Sheet.  This card was the original idea of Tami White, and I just had to make it.  I think you will agree after you make it, that it's one of the prettiest cards you have ever made.  Simple to make; yet soooo elegant. It is hard to see, but this card just sparkles with the use of Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter.



Very Vanilla Cardstock #101650

• 5" x 3-3/4" – Card Face top layer
• 4-1-4” x 4-1/4” – Envelope Liner
• 4” x 5/14” – Inside card layer

Bounce Dryer Sheets – Cut @ 5” x 3-3/4” and ironed

Elmer’s Craft Bond Spray - Multipurpose

 

Directions

1. Using the tall tree in the set, ink stamp once in center and then without re-inking, stamp in left side of paper but up a little higher.
2. Re-ink on right side of card and once again without re-inking stamp to left and up a little higher.
3. Re-ink stamp on left in front, then without re-inking, stamp edge of tree running off the right side and left sides of the paper.
4. Using a USED dryer sheet, trim to 5" x 3-3/4" or whatever size you have cut the vanilla layer paper.
5. Spray the Elmer’s Spray Adhesive onto the dryer sheet, stick onto the vanilla cardstock and press onto the face of the trees.
6. While wet, pour Dazzling Diamonds over the whole card face. Flick backside of the card to tap off the excess.
7. Attach vanilla layer to the gold layer cardstock with snail adhesive.
8. Wrap Early Espresso Tulle around the left side of card and tie a knot. Put a small linen thread or hemp thread thru knot.
9. Attach to the Espresso cardstock base.
10. Attach the inside of the card.

"LOVE" Valentine Card

Hi Stampers,

Here is a last minute little Valentine Card.  You can whip this card out in 10-15 minutes.  This will be my last Valentine posting for this year, I really can't wait to get back to making some everyday cards.  On this card I used the Hearts Framelits Collection, and the Countless Sayings 1 Photopolymer Stamp Set  I finished it off with the Small Heart Punch and Twine in lower right hand of card and some Candy Dots in the upper left hand side of the card.  Hope you have enjoyed all the Valentines Cards this year.

Straight To My Heart

Hi Stampers,
We are getting closer to Valentines Day.  If you still have the desire to make another Valentine Card then I hope this card will be of help to you.  I named this card, "Straight to My Heart".  This is one of the cards that my class made at our Valentines Card Class last Thursday.  I used the More Amore DSCS and the Stampin Up Hearts Framelits Collection to construct this card.  I also have made a YouTube Video to show you how to construct it all.  If you have time, I love reading your comments.



CARDSTOCK

Whisper White #100730

• 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score @ 4-1/4" card base
• 4” x 5-1/4” for card insert
• 3-3/4” x 5” for layer 2 (you will be using #3 hearts from Hearts Collection to cut out)
• Make a fishtail tag 13/16” x 2-1/4” that you had stamped with “straight to my heart” from Love You More stamp Set (flag inside depth will be 1/4")
• 8” x 8” for envelope (score and punch @ 3-1/2"
