DSC#093 "A Little Kindness Card"

Hi Stampers,
I will be having a few extra posts and videos for you this week in addition to this Thursday DOstampers STARS Thursday Challenge Card DSC#093.  I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way this card came out, and I am super excited to share it with you. If you look closely at the sides of the card, you will see that I used the Stampin Up Envelope Punch Board to create the base of the card.  I got my inspiration from pg 130 the annual catalog where they had a card that they used butterflys on it and a card base that was punched with the envelope punch board, so that was it...spotted it, and my creative juices started cooking and I tried to make it my own. I will be making a YouTube Video for this card, so make sure you check back soon to see if it has been posted to this post and updated to show the new video for this card.  I hope you love it as much as I do.  Until next time, God Bless!

Boxes Made With the New Stampin Up Gift Box Punch Board

Hi Stampers,
I have a real treat and sneak peak YouTube Video for you today!  I have made boxes using the soon to be released for sale to public (August 28) Stampin Up Gift Box Punch Board.  You heard me correctly!  Cool isn't it?!  Very easy to use, and very much the same process as our Stampin Up Envelope Punch Board. This Stampin Up Gift Box Punch Board promises to make some really cool gift boxes for you for the upcoming holidays. Love it.....I cannot show the actual Gift Box Punch Board on my blog until after it is released for sale to the public on August 28, but you can view my new YouTube Video to see how I constructed the box and get a sneak peek at it.  Put this on your wish list and don't forget about it when the Holiday Catalog starts on August 28 for the public. This item is going to sell out fast! Check out my new videos on it.  I am also making a BASIC box construction for the Stampin Up Gift Punch Board also, for those of you who don't really want to watch how to decorate the box.  Also coming soon...I am working on a new video for making Bows in different sizes, similar to the ones you see below to be used for the top of boxes and your cards using the Stampin Up Envelope Punch Board.  So keep viewing the blog, so you don't miss any of the new videos coming out.  Jump over to the video and check it out....Until next post, God Bless!

Card Making Time with Grand Kids

Hi Stampers,
One of the biggest blessings God has given to me is my granddaughters.  You fellow stampers that are also Grandma's and Nana's know exactly what I am talking about.  It seems like we get a chance for a "do-over" now, and we get to give our grandchildren our un-divided attention and time, which was something that we didn't always seem to be able to do when our own children were young because when raising a few children at a time our attention was divided in so many other directions.  My 5 year old granddaughter LOVES to come over to Nana's house for the weekend and do some serious card making and crafting with me.  It is so darn cute to see how creative she can be, and at the same time it is such a wonderful way for me to spend time with her and teach her the wonderful world of card making at such an early age.  Today I taught her how to measure and cut out her own 3x6 cards using the Stampin Up Trimmer (she loved working that trimmer making all kinds of shapes, LOL ) and then I just let her start to create with ink, stamps, punches, ribbon and gems.  It is amazing what they can come up with in those little creative minds.  If you haven't done this with you grandchildren, give it a try...You will both love it!  I would love to hear all your comments as to how you share your cardmaking craft with your grandchildren too.  It would be so much fun to read all the different comment ideas and learn from each other.  Here is her creative work...

Thank you so much for viewing my cards and for taking the time to leave me your comments! I read all of them, and I sincerely appreciate all of them!
