Hi Stampers,
It has been a few weeks since I was able to do a card blog post, because my personal life has just been a little crazy lately. But here is a look at this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#207 Sketch Pad Challenge! For this card I used my new Pretty Pines Thinlits. I have to tell you that the pine ferns made from these Thinlits are outstanding! They are so fine and delicate. You will just fall in love with this set!
I absolutely love the way that this card came out! I'm not sure if I'm ready for the Holidays coming so quickly, but it is just around the corner so here is a Christmas Card for you.
The finishing touch was to add the little piece of gold cording.
Basic Instructions:
- Cut Whisper White CS base 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and score at 4-1/4". (You will also need scrap for the banner).
- Cut Real Red CS @ 4" x 5-1/4" and another one @ 1" x 3-3/4". (You will need scrap for the berries).
- Cut Whisper White CS @ 3-3/4" x 5", then emboss using Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
- Cut (1) medium size and (3) small pine fern using the Pretty Pines Thinlits.
- Cut 1 pieces of Real Red 3/8" (1 Cm) Stitched Satin Ribbon for a bow and 8" of Gold Cording Trim.
- Add 2 Gold Sequins (I removed from them from the Gold Sequin Trim) .
- Using a scrap of Whisper White CS stamp the sentiment using Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad and the Seasonal Bells Clear-Mount Stamp Set then cut out using the Bunch Of Banners Framelits Dies.
- Envelope Liner was made with the Envelope Punch Board and the Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper.
