Hi Stampers,
Take a look at this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#178 Sketch Pad Challenge! I have been wanting to use my Number Of Years Stamp Set and figured no time like the present to come up with an idea using it.
This was a fun sketch. I loved the challenge trying to figure out what I was going to use for the angled layers on the card front. I worked on the top layer and kept thinking that it needed just a little something else to bring it out and then the light bulb in my head went on....I decided to go over the stamped image and emboss it using the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Perfect, just what I was looking for!
The finishing touch was to add the little Metallic Sequins and
the Daffodil Cotton Ribbon to pull it all together.
Basic Instructions:
- Cut Whisper White CS @ 5-1/2 x 8-1/2", score @ 4-1/4"
- Cut Whisper White CS @ 3" x 4-1/4"
- Cut Crumb Cake CS 3" x 4-3/4"
- Envelope and Liner were both made with the Envelope Punch Board.

DeleteAwesome card - I love the colors and the addition of the brick impression. It'd be pretty without it but that just puts it over the top!
