Flowering Fields Card - DSC#171

Hi Stampers,
For this weeks DOstamper Thursday DSC#171 Color My World Challenge, I copied the main layout of a card I saw on page 13 in the 2016 Saleabration Catalog, but I changed around the ink colors a little to match the challenge colors for this week, and I also changed the sentiment stamp too.  I actually loved this card so much that it is another card that we made for my card class. The card was made using the Flowering Fields Stamp Set which you can get FREE when you make a $50 purchase during Saleabration.  This card should definitely make you feel like spring is coming!

The flowers were water colored using my Aqua Painters, and I used the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig so all of the flowers lined up perfectly spaced on the front of the card base. (I'm just crazy about making things line up perfect).  I flagged the ends of the banner with the Triple Banner Punch.

The finishing touches were to add the little Pearl Basic Jewels Embellishments and to make the envelope and liner using the Envelope Punch Board and the Pretty Petals DSP Stack.

    1. Hi Cathy, I agree, this is definitely one of my favorite sets. It is so peaceful for making sympathy cards, yet can be used for birthdays and friendship cards too. I love the set too. Thanks for taking time to comment Cathy!
