Hi Stampers,
For today's DOstamper Thursday DSC#147 Color My World Challenge, I have the cutest little Coaster Post-It-Note Holders with Matching Clips. These are so much fun to make and so easy too! I ordered a package of blank coasters from Amazon, and I am having a blast covering them in different Designer Papers. These coasters are the perfect little gift to give to a teacher or a friend. Really.....who doesn't use Post-It Notes? I even think they are cute to give to a hostess too or as a topper on a Birthday gift. I'm sure no matter who you give them to they will just love them! Can't you just picture some of these coasters covered in some of the new Christmas Designer Specialty Papers? How cool is that? I'll be making a video this week for you on how I did these and I think I just might use the Christmas Paper for the video.
Which coaster is your favorite and why??? If you ave time to leave a comment it might be fun to take a poll and see which coaster is the viewers favorite. I would love to hear from you. Have a great week and God Bless!
The image on the left was designed using the colors required for the DSC#147 Color My World Challenge. I used the new English Garden Designer Series Paper to cover the coaster and clip, and Crumb Cake 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon for the bow on the top of the clip.
As you can see in the image above the English Garden Designer Series Paper has both the Night of Navy and Soft Suede Colors in the paper needed for the challenge.
For the coaster above, I used the new Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack and the ribbon was Lucky Limeade 3/8 Inch Ruffled Ribbon
The finishing touch on both coasters was adding the ribbon bow on the top of the clip!
Enjoy!
Would love to hear what coaster you like more and why??????

Such a clever idea! These would be great Christmas gifts for my co-workers! It'd be fun to think about patterned papers that match each of their personalities or tastes! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHey Michelle, Glad you like the coasters!. I cant wait to try to make some of these myself in the Christmas DSP. You are right, there is a paper to match all different personalities. I will be releasing the matching video in next few days on my YouTube Channel on how to make these. Hope you tune in to see it!
DeleteI love this idea. What kind of adhesive do you use to attach the paper to the clip and the coaster?
ReplyDeleteHi Nola, I used the Tombow Liquid Adhesive. The picture of the bottle is shown on the supply list above in the coaster post. Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment. Glad you enjoyed them.
DeleteThese are so cute. I like the one from the Pretty Petals paper. I think the small print looks best on this size coaster. Just my opinion. Thanks so much for sharing, looking forward to the video
ReplyDeleteHi Babe, Glad you like the coasters. Tell the truth I like the Pretty Petals too. That was the first one I made and then I had so much fum making it, I decided to do the colors for the challenge too. Plus, it looks nicer with the yellow note pad.
